At Camp Stitch Sydney, we want every camper to have the best experience possible. To ensure this, we’ve put together some important terms and conditions for you below. To register for Camp Stitch Sydney, you will need to read and agree to the below and note that by enrolling in Camp, you agree to abide by our terms, conditions and policies as stated.
COVID-19 UPDATE:
The health and wellbeing of all camp attendees is our absolute priority. Camp Stitch Sydney 2020 will only proceed if national and state public health orders allow and with physical distancing and hygiene measures in place as appropriate.
We would like to reassure campers that in the unfortunate event that cancellation is required, a full refund of fees will be provided. Travel or other associated costs incurred in the event of cancellation will not be reimbursed. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance to cover this where applicable.
It is also important to note that teachers may be subject to change. Given that some of our teachers travel from interstate and overseas, travel restrictions may prevent some of our teachers from reaching camp. Should this occur, every effort will be made to arrange an
alternative teacher/workshop. In the unlikely event that this is not possible, the workshop will be cancelled and a full refund of fees made.

Registration and Fees
Registration is subject to availability. Filling out the enrolment form does not guarantee you a spot at Camp Stitch Sydney. Camp fees are stated on our website and payment is required within seven days of registration. At this time we are unable to offer payment by instalment as this is a not for profit endeavour managed by volunteers only.
Cancellation and refund policy
Camp fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable in the first instance. However, should a waitlist exist and a substitute camper be found, Camp Stitch Sydney may be able to transfer your ticket.
Camp Stitch Sydney reserves the right to cancel the event, in which case you will be entitled to a full refund. Travel or other associated costs incurred in the event of cancellation will not be reimbursed. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance to cover this where applicable.
Attendance
All camp activities, including workshops, start and end according to the camp schedule. The schedule will be provided to all campers prior to the start of Camp. Makeup time for missed activities is not provided. The camp schedule is subject to change without notice where necessary, due to influences that may be beyond the control of volunteers.

Workshop Allocation and Transfer
Choice of a workshop can be made by the camper at the time of registration on a first come, first served basis. Later transfer to an alternative workshop may be permitted but is subject to availability and at our discretion. Refunds will not be offered on the basis of workshop preference.
Instructors
In certain circumstances, instructors are subject to change without notice.
Lost or Damaged Property
Camp Stitch Sydney is not responsible for camper’s lost or damaged property.
Risk of Injury
Campers acknowledge that attending Camp Stitch Sydney involves certain risks (some of which s/he may not fully appreciate) and that injuries, death, property damage, or other harm could occur to the campers or others. Campers accept and voluntarily incur all risks of any injuries, damages, or harm which arise during or as a result from attending Camp Stitch Sydney, regardless of whether or not caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other faults of Camp Stitch Sydney and/or its volunteers. Camp Stitch Sydney will not be held liable for injuries, damages or harm caused by the actions of its instructors.
Photography
During the course of the weekend, Camp volunteers and other campers will be photographing and/or videotaping campers and their work. We may publish the recordings online or in other places for promotional purposes. Campers agree that their picture and sound may be used by us without granting any additional permissions.
